No. Zebra shades are designed primarily for flexible light control and privacy rather than complete blackout. When the solid bands are aligned they significantly reduce incoming light, but some light may still enter around the shade and through the fabric.
When the sheer bands are aligned, you may be able to see outside while still softening direct sunlight. Visibility depends on the lighting conditions. At night, close the solid bands when greater privacy is needed.
Yes. The zebra shades offered through Finishing Touches Interiors use a Zero Gravity Cordless operating system with no hanging chain or cord, creating a cleaner appearance and simple hand operation.
The balanced cordless system allows you to raise or lower the shade directly from the bottom bar. The shade moves smoothly and can be positioned at the height you choose without using a chain or hanging cord.
